Change in Schumacher management

Lehrte, January 2, 2024 +++The Schumacher Packaging Group, one of Europe's largest manufacturers of corrugated and solid board packaging solutions (www.schumacher-packaging.com), has appointed a new Managing Director for its Lehrte site: Ms. Leena Gaebler will take over the management from January 2024, her second management position within the Schumacher Packaging Group. Since 2020, she has already served as Managing Director of Schumacher Pack Solution GmbH, where she is driving forward the Group's digital sales strategy.

Since June 2017, the former co-packing and service specialist Konverdi has been operating under the name Schumacher Packaging Services GmbH. Since the takeover, the site in the Hanover region has stood for flexible and high-quality co-packing and service solutions for well-known branded companies.

At the beginning of the new year, Ms. Gaebler, as the new Managing Director, will drive forward the strategic expansion and further development of the Lehrte site and accelerate its integration into the Schumacher Group. She will further strengthen the already established areas of expertise and focus on the newly established areas of fulfillment (Schumacher Packaging Services) and online business (Schumacher Pack Solution), linking them more closely and expanding them profitably. The fulfillment area, i.e. the complete order processing, especially in the area of e-commerce, is an integral part of the Lehrte site and thus ideally complements the processes of Pack Solution. 

From trainee to two-time Managing Director at Schumacher Packaging

Ms. Gaebler began her professional career at Schumacher Packaging almost 15 years ago. Starting in 2009 as an intern at Kartonax (now the Schumacher Packaging plant in Forchheim), she remained at this location as a working student during her studies. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Packaging Technology, Ms. Gaebler joined the company full-time in 2016 as Key Account Manager at the headquarters in Ebersdorf. She joined the sales management team in 2017 and took over the management of the then newly founded Schumacher Pack Solution GmbH in 2020.
